Location:Childress, Texas Pay:$28 -$30 per hour ($175 Per Diem) Schedule.:Monday - Saturday 6AM - 6PM (32 HOURS OF OVERTIME A WEEK!) This is a long term project scheduled to complete January 2027! REQUIREMENTS:OSHA 30 HSE JOBSITE EXPERIENCE CLEAN BACKGROUND (NO FELONIES) ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED) OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee safety protocols and environmental compliance within construction projects.This role is vital for ensuring a safe work environment, minimizing risks, and maintaining adherence to industry standards and regulations.The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of construction safety management, risk assessment, and compliance management, with the ability to lead safety initiatives across multiple sites.This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-profile construction projects while promoting a culture of safety excellence.Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies aligned with OSHA, NEC, and other relevant standards.Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues on construction sites.Lead safety training sessions for construction personnel to ensure awareness of OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and occupational health best practices.Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.Manage incident investigations, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.Oversee the use of construction management software related to safety tracking and compliance documentation.Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution phases.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA updates, workers' compensation laws, and other regulatory changes affecting construction safety.Ensure proper documentation of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance audits.Promote a proactive safety culture through continuous improvement initiatives and leadership on-site.Skills Strong expertise in risk management, occupational health, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.In-depth knowledge of NEC codes relevant to construction environments.Proven experience in construction management with a focus on EHS (Environmental Health & Safety).Familiarity with construction site operations and experience managing safety on active construction sites.Proficiency in construction management software for tracking compliance and safety metrics.Excellent communication skills for training teams and conducting safety briefings effectively.Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and implement practical solutions for complex safety challenges.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting processes.This role is essential for maintaining safe construction environments while ensuring regulatory compliance across all project phases.The successful candidate will be a proactive leader committed to fostering a culture of safety excellence within the organization.Must pass background check and drug screen!
