Learn more at www.cranecurrency.com How You Will Make An Impact As a Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist, you play a critical role in protecting our people and supporting the sustainability of our operations. You will proactively identify and reduce workplace risks, ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and help build a strong culture of safety across the site. Through hands‑on support, training, and continuous improvement, your work will directly contribute to employee well‑being, operational continuity, and Crane Currency’s long‑term success. Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Conduct regular inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to safety standards Provide training and education to employees on safety practices, environmental requirements, and emergency response procedures Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend effective mitigation strategies Maintain accurate documentation and records, including compliance reports, incident logs, and training records Advise management and employees on OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements and best practices Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce incidents, improve awareness, and strengthen overall safety culture Required Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Accredited BS in industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant health, safety, and environmental experience Sound working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations Experience with project management, research methods, report writing, and record‑keeping practices Proficiency with standard computer applications used for documentation and reporting For all U.S. positions: Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust Preferred Advanced certifications such as OHST, ASP, CSP, and/or CIH How We Will Care For You We offer top‑notch benefits, including medical, dental, vision, company bonus plan, 401(K) match and more.
