Job Description
Position : Healthcare IT Professional/Consultant Location : New Jersey (Hudson, Bergen, Essex, Morris, & Union counties) or Manhattan Work Arrangement : Part-time; hybrid remote with occasional on-site support as needed We are an innovative, early-stage telehealth startup in the executive health and longevity space seeking an experienced IT professional to help build, launch, and maintain our core technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on IT experience who can support day-to-day technology needs while also helping us establish secure, scalable systems for a modern clinical environment. Prior experience in healthcare IT, EMR/EHR implementation, HIPAA-sensitive workflows, cybersecurity, or medical practice technology operations is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot company computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and clinical technology equipment Help design, launch, and maintain secure company IT infrastructure, including networking, cloud-based tools, access management, and device management Support deployment and maintenance of EMR/EHR software and related billing, scheduling, communication, and patient-management systems Coordinate with outside vendors, software providers, cybersecurity consultants, and clinical operations staff, including webpage developers Troubleshoot routine hardware, software, connectivity, and systems issues as they arise Qualifications: Prior IT experience required; healthcare IT experience strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms, healthcare billing workflows, or medical practice technology systems preferred Working knowledge of networking, endpoint/device management, cloud productivity tools, identity/access management, and cybersecurity best practices Understanding of HIPAA-sensitive technology environments is highly desirable Strong organizational, project-management, and vendor-evaluation skills Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical team members Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup environment where responsibilities may evolve over time Compensation: Competitive and negotiable per-hour compensation Performance-based incentives tied to agreed-upon implementation and operational milestones Potential equity/stock option participation for the right candidate
