Job Description
Role Overview The Healthcare Sales Specialist plays a vital role within our Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment (MOE) team, driving enrollment success by building relationships in the community, generating quality referrals, and guiding prospective participants into the PACE program. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Coordinate and initiate outreach activities to connect with local communities. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain partnerships with community leaders and organizations such as senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, and churches. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement monthly marketing plans to consistently achieve enrollment goals in collaboration with the MOE Director. Education and Awareness: Provide information about WelbeHealth’s services to community referral sources. What Makes This Role Unique? No Hard Sell: Focus on connecting vulnerable seniors with essential care rather than pushing products. Mission-Driven Work: Support participants in accessing the resources they need to remain in their homes and communities. Relationship Focus: Build genuine, ongoing relationships with seniors, caregivers, and community partners rather than pursuing one-time sales. Community-First Approach: Engage with the community through events and face-to-face outreach instead of relying on cold calls. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or healthcare administration preferred. Certification: Completion of DHCS training and exam as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in sales and marketing, with at least 1 year in a healthcare or senior care setting preferred. Outside sales experience is a plus. Technical Skills: Familiarity with technology platforms such as Salesforce, Athena, etc. Candidate Profile Experience: 2-5 years in relevant roles Seniority Level: Associate Management Experience: Not required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Willingness to Travel: Occasionally
