Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across residential properties. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and boilers to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and conduct equipment repairs or replacements as needed. Weld or fabricate parts for system repairs or modifications to meet safety standards and operational requirements. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in construction with mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with AC, air handler and furnace repair. Mechanical aptitude combined with field service experience working on air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of mechanical systems including refrigeration cycles, HVAC/R controls, and property maintenance standards.
