Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across residential and light commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and reliable climate control. Duties Install, service, and repair HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and longevity. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe repairs and refrigerant line installations. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with heating and cooling systems. Operate brazing equipment for custom repairs or modifications when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all completed work. Ensure compliance with safety standards including proper handling of ammonia refrigeration systems and other hazardous materials. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems to support overall building operations. Skills/Expectations Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction or property maintenance environments. Proven service technician experience with HVAC systems. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for system troubleshooting and installation. Knowledge of HVAC design principles to optimize system performance. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools including ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Field service experience with a focus on equipment repair, maintenance, brazing, and mechanical adjustments. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. EPA 608 certification required. Must be able to pass pre employment background check.
