About the Role We are seeking dedicated Diesel Technicians to join our established repair team, where you will play a vital role in maintaining fleet readiness and ensuring the reliability of commercial equipment. You will utilize your diagnostic skills to perform high-quality repairs on medium-duty diesel and gas-powered vehicles, contributing directly to the operational efficiency of our clients. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on medium-duty diesel engines and gas trucks to minimize vehicle downtime. Perform preventative maintenance on diverse fleet vehicles to ensure peak performance and safety standards. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on commercial equipment, delivering precise and lasting solutions. Collaborate with a supportive team to manage shop workflow and meet service deadlines effectively. Maintain detailed service records to track vehicle health and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules. Uphold a high standard of workmanship, focusing on the long-term reliability of every repair performed. Qualifications Required Skills Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check. Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow in the trade. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative shop environment. Reliable, self-motivated work ethic with a focus on quality and safety. Preferred Skills Prior professional experience in diesel or automotive repair settings. Technical training or certification in heavy-duty engine systems. Familiarity with modern diagnostic software and fleet maintenance tools. Experience working on a variety of commercial truck makes and models.
