Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic = team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support land clearing, excavation and various projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help bring complex projects to life while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to project timelines. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery with precision and safety. Manage the operation of specialized vehicles including concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers. Assist in site preparation by grading, digging, lifting, and moving materials efficiently across the construction site. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans accurately while adhering to safety protocols and project specifications. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational incidents. Support the setup and breakdown of machinery during various phases of construction projects. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks such as dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures. Ability to operate specialized equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and water trucks. Knowledge of construction materials and processes including concrete mixing and site excavation techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Preferred skills include experience with Caterpillar machinery brands or similar heavy equipment manufacturers; knowledge of farm machinery; mechanical aptitude; and familiarity with operating roll-off trucks or tanker vehicles in various construction or agricultural settings.
