If you are interested in the position, please provide a good phone number we may reach you along with your resume.Summary of Position:Performs routine plant jobs of a more strenuous and complicated nature than other Laborer A jobs, which require lifting, dumping, and pushing of raw fruit, and in-process and finished products.Performs strenuous routine jobs including, but not limited to, bin repair, drench machine operator, filled case handling, fruit dumper, painter, pan pusher and dumper, rice hull dumper and unloader, sugar dumper and oven loader.Reports any concerns or signs of product tampering to the Supervisor immediately.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.(Performs other assignments or duties as required.) Stacks cases of full product on skids.Knows appropriate stacking patterns and required number of layers.Feeds hoppers and kettles with ingredients.Dumps sugar and rice hulls into hoppers.Dumps fruit into kettles for pie filling.Monitors level of hoppers and kettles and adds specified ingredient as required.Repairs damaged wooden apple storage bins.Removes broken or rotten wood planks.Cuts new wood planks to required length as replacements.Unloads bulk rice hulls into silo.Attaches required hoses.Monitors unloading and corrects any problems.Works on paint crew.Paints all areas of plant both exterior and interior.Pushes and dumps pans of in-process product.Loads pans and other containers of in-process product into ovens.Reports any Food Safety, Food Quality Issues to Supervisor immediately.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.44 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Shift availability:Night Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute:Orrtanna, PA 17353 (Required) Work Location:In person.
