Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to provide comprehensive IT support to our organization.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues.This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting diverse IT infrastructure components including operating systems, network systems, and user devices.The Help Desk Technician will be instrumental in maintaining system stability and ensuring end-user satisfaction through effective problem resolution and proactive support.Duties Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems.Manage computer hardware, peripherals, mobile devices, and ensure proper configuration and maintenance.Assist users with IoT devices and the issues they may be experiencing at the time.Support IT infrastructure components including firewalls, LAN/WAN networks, Layer 3 devices, and network administration tasks.Maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions; analyze recurring issues to recommend improvements.Assist with system updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure compliance with organizational standards.Experience Proven experience in help desk or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer management and IT support principles.Hands-on experience with operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server environments, Windows 10/11, and Linux distributions.Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN administration, VLANs, firewall configurations, VPN setup, and network security best practices.Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately.Excellent communication skills to effectively assist end-users with varying levels of technical knowledge.Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service delivery.This position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology support who thrive on solving problems efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service in a professional setting.Pay:From $15.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Education:Associate (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
