Part-Time Band Teacher 2026–27 School Year Our client, a private high school in Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time Band Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. This role includes teaching high school band courses and supporting student development in musicianship, instrumental technique, and performance skills. The ideal candidate enjoys working with adolescents and is committed to helping students grow musically, creatively, and confidently. This educator will work within a strong, collaborative Fine Arts department and incorporate a broad range of musical styles and repertoire that reflect a diverse student body. Flexible scheduling may be available to accommodate the selected candidate’s availability. Responsibilities Teach high school band courses Support the development of instrumental technique, musicianship, and performance skills Prepare students for performances and concerts throughout the school year Create a positive, engaging learning environment Collaborate with Fine Arts colleagues on curriculum and performances Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Support the school’s mission and core values Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required Wisconsin DPI teaching license preferred (non-licensed candidates may be considered) Demonstrated proficiency in instrumental music instruction and strong communication skills Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
