Learning Tree Tutors is looking to expand our Dallas team! We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced high school math, science and ELA tutors to provide personalized education and support to students in Dallas, Texas. As a private tutor, you will work independently with students, offering in-person instruction and guidance. All clients will be located in Dallas, North Dallas or East Dallas. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students based on their individual needs and academic goals. Develop and implement personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor instruction accordingly. Help students improve their study skills, organization, and time management. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents and Learning Tree Tutors. Collaborate with parents and teachers to create a supportive learning environment. Stay updated on the latest educational techniques and resources. Requirements: Previous experience working with children at a high school level, preferably in a tutoring or teaching role. Excellent knowledge of high school level math, science or ELA. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with students and parents. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles. Reliable transportation to travel to students' homes or agreed-upon meeting locations within Dallas. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on students' schedules. Access to a computer and internet connection for occasional remote work (e.g., virtual tutoring, communication with parents, etc.).
