Highway Maintenance Tech Intern - Brownwood Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and gain hands-on experience in maintenance work? This summer maintenance tech internship offers hands-on experience working with our local county maintenance crews to support roadway repairs, general maintenance, and a variety of field operations. Interns may be placed in any of the nine counties within the brownwood district - brown, coleman, comanche, eastland, san saba, lampasas, mcculloch, mills, or stephens - providing a unique opportunity to gain broad, real-world exposure across our district. Under the guidance of a maintenance section supervisor, interns receive clear instructions, daily support, and the chance to learn on the job while developing valuable skills in roadway maintenance and safety.
