Our healthcare client is seeking a remote Application Lead – HIM to join their team on a contract basis. This role will serve as both a technical subject matter expert and team lead, supporting critical HIM applications while ensuring continuity of operations during a backfill period. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned healthcare IT professional with strong EPIC expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for improving clinical and operational systems. Key Responsibilities: Act as a subject matter expert for HIM applications and workflows Provide hands-on application support while leading day-to-day team activities Coordinate and prioritize team work to meet service levels and deadlines Provide mentorship and technical guidance to application analysts Serve as an escalation point for complex system and integration issues Partner with HIM, clinical, and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions Perform fit/gap analysis and document current vs. future-state workflows Design, test, validate, and implement system enhancements Lead or support small to mid-size initiatives and system improvements Collaborate on integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) Review and assign incidents and change requests to balance team workload Participate in a second-level, 24/7 on-call rotation Required Qualifications: EPIC Certification required High School Diploma or GED required 6–10+ years of experience supporting healthcare applications or clinical systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language Customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment EEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
