Position Summary:Paradise Facility is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Support Staff in our residential drug and alcohol treatment program.Support Staff are vital members of our recovery community, responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment for clients as they work toward sobriety and wellness.Who We Are Looking For:We are seeking candidates who:Have a genuine desire to help individuals in recovery.Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations.Are dependable, team-oriented, and willing to step in where needed.Are open to learning about addiction treatment and supporting clients' wellness goals.Can set healthy boundaries while showing empathy and respect.Are flexible to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Key Responsibilities:Client Supervision & Support Monitor clients to ensure safety, sobriety, and compliance with facility rules.Provide encouragement and guidance to clients in recovery.Assist clients with daily living skills as needed.Accompany clients to group activities, meals, or recreational outings.Facility & Program Duties Conduct routine room checks, headcounts, and facility walk-throughs.Assist with intake and orientation of new clients.Document all observations, incidents, and client interactions in logs.Support counselors and clinical staff by preparing group spaces and ensuring schedules run smoothly.Safety & Compliance Respond appropriately to crises, including medical or behavioral emergencies, following facility protocols.Enforce program rules and boundaries in a firm but compassionate manner.Maintain confidentiality in accordance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations.Participate in fire drills, safety checks, and other emergency procedures.Teamwork & Communication Work collaboratively with clinical, medical, and administrative staff.Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.Report client progress, concerns, and incidents to supervisors in a timely manner.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required Experience working in a residential, healthcare, or behavioral health setting preferred.Must maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate empathy and respect for clients.Strong communication, observation, and crisis intervention skills.Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Capable of responding quickly in emergencies.Core Competencies:Compassion and empathy for individuals in recovery.Reliability and consistency in providing client support.Ability to remain calm under pressure.Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$18.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
