Position Overview BrightStar Care of Hayward/Fremont is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Care Housekeeper to support our clients in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.This role focuses primarily on household support and light housekeeping tasks within our clients' homes.Unlike traditional residential cleaning services, our Home Care Housekeeper works within a caregiving environment, supporting seniors and adults who may need assistance maintaining their home due to age, illness, or disability.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in creating clean, welcoming living spaces.Key Responsibilities Perform light housekeeping tasks in clients' homes, including:Dusting and wiping surfaces Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms Washing dishes and tidying kitchen areas Changing bed linens and making beds Laundry and folding clothing Taking out trash and recycling Organizing and general home tidying Maintain a safe and sanitary home environment for clients Follow care plans and agency guidelines for household tasks Communicate with the office regarding schedule updates or client needs Provide occasional companionship and friendly interaction with clients while working in the home Respect client privacy, dignity, and personal property Qualifications Prior housekeeping or residential cleaning experience preferred Experience working in private homes, hospitality, or home care is a plus Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and meet home care hiring requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organization Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor Why Work With BrightStar Care Flexible scheduling Supportive local office team Opportunities for additional hours or caregiver training Work that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives BrightStar Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating a supportive environment for both our employees and the clients we serve.#IND123 - Monthly Pay:From $25.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
