Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Care Manager, where you will lead the coordination and delivery of exceptional in-home care services. This vital role involves overseeing clinical operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a compassionate environment for patients. As a Home Care Manager, you will be the driving force behind maintaining high-quality patient care while efficiently managing resources and staff to meet organizational goals. Your leadership will directly impact the well-being of our clients and the success of our home health services. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily home care operations, ensuring seamless service delivery aligned with healthcare standards. Manage clinical staff including, caregivers, and administrative personnel to optimize team performance and patient outcomes. Oversee medical records, documentation, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Epic. Develop and monitor budgets, control expenses, and oversee fiscal management to ensure financial sustainability of home care programs. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care plans effectively. Ensure adherence to accreditation standards such as JCAHO and manage utilization to optimize resource use within managed care frameworks. Conduct human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and addressing staff concerns to maintain a motivated team environment. Skills Proven experience in healthcare management or medical office management with a strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical work flows.have 3 to 5 years experience Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within healthcare or dental clinics. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Dentrix or Eaglesoft for accurate medical records management. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical administrative support practices, and compliance standards like JCAHO. Strong organizational skills with experience in office management, practice management software, and medical records administration. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
