Trash Collector THE CITY OF ANDALUSIA ANDALUSIA, ALABAMA Job Announcement Trash Collector The City of Andalusia is accepting applications for a Trash Collector position in the Public Works Department. Under the general direction of the Trash Truck Driver, the employee walks along or rides on a trash truck and loads trash onto the truck. QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and/or experience equivalent to: Ability to follow oral instructions. Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers. Stamina to withstand working outside in various extremes of weather for extended periods of time and walking long distances. Ability to work nonstandard hours and/or over 40 hours per week. ANNUAL ENTRY SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.
