Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing assistance with daily activities and medical care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through tailored memory and dementia care strategies Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall well-being Collaborate with healthcare teams during hospice or long-term care situations to deliver compassionate support aligned with patient needs and care plans Qualifications Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to patient observation, catheter care, hospice care, and medication administration Certification in CPR and HIPAA training are preferred Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities with patience and empathy Strong understanding of infection control practices including cleaning and sanitation protocols Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Join us in delivering dedicated home health services that prioritize safety, dignity, and independence.
