Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (HHA), where you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to individuals in their homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients by assisting with daily activities, supporting medical needs, and promoting independence. As an HHA, you will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality home health services that enhance well-being and comfort. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, documenting vital signs and changes in health status accurately in electronic health record (EHR) or medical documentation systems Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, catheter care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and other devices to ensure safe patient handling and care Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients Document all patient interactions thoroughly and communicate effectively with healthcare teams using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to home health care Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly valued Ability to perform patient observation and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies such as CPR certification or hospice care situations Proficiency in assisting with ADLs and providing compassionate senior care or home & community care services Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and secure handling of medical records Competence in using medical documentation tools and EHR/EHR systems for accurate recordkeeping Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and strong communication abilities Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional home health services!
