Job Description Summary ‎ Are you a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) seeking a flexible career opportunity? We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment. ‎ How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements ‎ Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training. Patient Education: Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers. Requirements Certification: Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida. Experience: Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an OTA, preferably in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab setting. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care. Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
