Home Remodeling Specialist / Lead Carpenter Adria Design Build, LLC is seeking a skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Home Remodeling Specialist / Lead Carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. We specialize in high-quality home remodels, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations throughout Silicon Valley. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on construction experience, takes pride in craftsmanship, understands residential remodeling, and can help move projects forward efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional jobsite. Position Overview The Home Remodeling Specialist / Lead Carpenter will assist with and perform a wide range of residential remodeling tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, drywall, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and general construction support. This person must be comfortable reading plans, following direction, working with trades, and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, solution-oriented, and experienced in working inside occupied and high-end residential homes. Key Responsibilities Perform residential remodeling work including demolition, framing, drywall, trim carpentry, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring, tile, painting preparation, and finish work. Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and properly. Assist with layout, measurements, material handling, and installation tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times. Support the Project Manager and Construction Director in keeping the project on schedule. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members as needed. Identify jobsite issues early and communicate them clearly to the project team. Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards, client expectations, and applicable building codes. Protect client homes, finishes, landscaping, and personal property during construction. Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on residential construction or remodeling experience . Strong background in remodeling, carpentry, and general construction. Ability to read and understand construction plans, details, and specifications. Experience with framing, finish carpentry, doors, windows, cabinetry, drywall, flooring, tile, and fixture installation. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural coordination is preferred. Ability to safely operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation to job sites. Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and safety-conscious. Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform physical construction tasks as required. Preferred Experience Experience working on high-end residential remodels. Familiarity with Silicon Valley / Bay Area residential construction. Experience coordinating with subcontractors and inspectors. Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and suggest practical solutions. Experience with construction management software is a plus.
