Hope Squad Liaison: Salary Range $40,707 - $44,482 JOB PURPOSE : To serve as a liaison between local ISD campuses and local program advisor trainer to reduce youth suicide through education, training and peer intervention. The school based liaison works in collaboration with and provides training to program advisors and other school personnel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are: psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development; physician's assistant; gerontology; education psychology; special education; early childhood intervention; or early childhood education.) DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (IF APPLICABLE): BA/BS or RN KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Appropriate written and verbal communication. This includes spelling and grammar. Ability to provide documentation according to standards, assessments, brief mental status exams, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous other documents with acceptable spelling and grammar. Computer ? skilled in the use of technology with Microsoft Office and all Google applications. Familiarity with community mental health and other resources Ability to build rapport with individuals including coworkers. Demonstrate skill in utilizing appropriate professional tools and interventions. Interacts with diverse cultural, ethnic, and economic backgrounds and municipal organizations and agencies.
