Job Description
I am looking for someone to join our team of feeders at my farm in Knightdale.We typically have around 16 horses.For the safety of the horses and employees, experience is required for this job.The current shifts available are Wednesday afternoon AM Shifts begin around 6:30 AM 7:30 AM on Sunday PM shifts begin around 3:30 PM.If you do not have experience, but would like to learn, I do have several volunteer opportunities available where you can gain experience, and possibly a paid position in the future.Duties Include:Preparing and feeding grain Giving hay Filling/cleaning waters Blanketing when weather permits All the horses live outside, so there are typically no stalls to clean.You would need to be comfortable working independently, but most of the time, you would be working with someone else.I am looking for someone long term, and there could be opportunity for more work for the right person.Farm is located in Knightdale.Potential to make around $20/hr Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $20.00 per hour Application Question(s):Please tell me about your horse experience.How far from Knightdale do you live?
