This is a small and growing landscape company seeking two hardworking, cheerful, and awesome individuals to form the crew for the 2026 season beginning in early March.Our focus is on designing landscapes with native plants and natural feels, doing a blend of landscape installation, garden maintenance and operating a small nursery.This job is both challenging and rewarding, offering variety, physical activity, learning opportunities, and a pleasant workplace.Two positions are available:one being four days a week, and the second being a minimum of two days a week.Both positions have potential for more hours especially during peak season.Work Schedule:Seasonal Work:We are closed January and February.Historically, some work is available during these months, but there are no guarantees.You will not be expected to be available to work then, so consider those months off.Days:Tuesday to Friday Start Time:845 AM Job Locations:We go all over the greater Asheville area and beyond for the right client.Most days we will meet in North Asheville in the AM Responsibilities:Assist with various landscaping projects including planting, mulching, pruning, weeding, stonework, and general garden maintenance.Follow instructions and collaborate with the team.Operate and maintain landscape tools and equipment (e.g., string trimmers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws).Follow all safety protocols and adhere to the employee code of conduct Requirements:Previous landscaping or outdoor work experience preferred but not required.Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued.Reliable transportation and driver's license required for commuting to job sites and/or driving the work truck.Knowledge or interest in plants, horticulture, and best practices.Maintain a positive attitude, even during physically demanding tasks tough conditions.Display a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability or willingness to learn to drive a small truck with a trailer.Cheerful disposition and sense of humor, or at least willing to laugh at my jokes Good communication skills and the ability to work both as a team and independently Ability to work around poison ivy within reason What We Offer:Hourly wage based on experience ($24-$28/hr.)
