Dover Hospice, a regional healthcare provider and true friend of adults facing terminal illnesses, seeks a service-minded, career-oriented individual to join our team as a Certified Nurse's Aide at our St. Louis location. As a Hospice CNA, you will have the opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our patients daily! You will promote the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of patients and work with the Dover Health teams by comfort and compassion to every patient and family member during this critical period. As a Hospice CNA, you will impact the lives of our patients by - Working in collaboration with the supervising RN, to fulfill the defined patient-specific Hospice CNA Plan of Care. Collaborating with the care team as an extension of nursing services to ensure all patient needs are fully addressed. Delivering hands-on personal care and supportive services to assist with safe activities of daily living, in accordance with the established Hospice CNA Plan of Care, and in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies. Documenting care provided according to agency policy. Using Durable Medical Equipment safely. Participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Participating in professional development and lifelong learning activities.
