Hospice Executive Director About the Company Respected hospice provider Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Hospice Executive Director to take on a pivotal leadership role within a local hospice program. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and performance of hospice operations, including day-to-day activities, staff leadership, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This position demands a strong local operator with a deep understanding of hospice operations, the market, and a proven track record in team building, driving growth, and leading a high-performing branch. The Executive Director will be expected to lead from the front, build and maintain the right team, and foster a culture that is dedicated to quality care, accountability, and long-term success. Applicants for the Hospice Executive Director role must have a background in hospice, be local to the Houston market, and possess strong local market knowledge and relationships. A minimum of 3-5 years' of hospice operations management experience is required, along with a broad understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a history of successful budget development, financial oversight, and expense management, and demonstrate strong leadership, operational, strategic, and managerial abilities. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to make sound judgments, solve problems, and make effective decisions. The role is best suited for a candidate with a proven and verifiable performance record, who can ensure the continued growth and success of the hospice program.
