Hospice Physician

FG Healthcare Services is seeking a board-certified or eligible physician to serve as a per-diem Hospice Physician / Medical Director. This role is ideal for a compassionate physician who wants to provide meaningful end-of-life care, collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, and positively impact patients and families during life's final chapter. What You'll Do Certify and recertify terminal diagnoses per Medicare hospice eligibility requirements Conduct face-to-face visits as required by regulation Serve as IDT physician member and provide clinical guidance to the care team Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists Review and approve medication orders and palliative care plans Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities Requirements MD or DO with active Michigan medical license (required) Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, or Palliative Care preferred Experience in hospice, palliative care, or geriatric medicine preferred Knowledge of Medicare hospice conditions of participation Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation Pay: $179.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
