Candidates from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Connecticut are preferred. We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Auditor to review and validate inpatient medical coding for accuracy, compliance, and proper MS-DRG assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS guidelines, DRG validation, and acute care hospital coding practices. Responsibilities Audit inpatient coding for accuracy and completeness Identify coding errors, missed diagnoses, or incorrect DRGs Ensure compliance with CMS, payer, and AHIMA/AAPC guidelines Provide feedback and education to inpatient coders Certificates: RHIT AHIMA AAPC-CRC Experience: Strong inpatient coding experience.
