This role ensures continuity of learning by delivering standards-based instruction aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), collaborating with school staff, families, and medical providers, and supporting students' academic progress during periods of absence. This position requires flexibility, strong instructional skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple settings, including home, hospital, and virtual environments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field, required; Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification in Special Education (P 12), required; Experience working with students with disabilities across diverse learning needs; Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements; Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and Board may find appropriate.
