Hospitality Host (Front Door & Floor Support)

Job Overview We are seeking a Hospitality Host (Front Door & Floor Support) to join our team at Chalet Breckenridge, a speakeasy-inspired ultra lounge that transitions from elevated apr s-ski to high-energy nightlife.This is not a traditional security role.You will be the first and last impression of the venue, responsible for creating a welcoming environment, maintaining control of the front door, and supporting the overall guest experience throughout the building.The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and proactive -- someone who can balance hospitality and authority while contributing to the flow and energy of the entire venue.Responsibilities Greet every guest with warmth, confidence, and professionalism Check IDs and manage guest entry in compliance with policies Maintain control of the door with calm authority and awareness Set the tone for the guest experience from the moment of arrival Assist with bussing tables and resetting the floor as needed Support bartenders and servers during high-volume periods Maintain cleanliness throughout the venue (tables, floors, common areas) Monitor guest behavior and ensure a safe, respectful environment Communicate effectively with management and team members Stay active and engaged -- not stationary at the door Experience Previous experience in hospitality, nightlife, or guest-facing roles preferred Experience in security or door positions is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Professional appearance and demeanor Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed Pay:$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
