Hours: Part Time Days: Tuesday-Saturday Time: 230pm-9pm The Front Door Sets the Tone at Blackbeard’s At Blackbeard’s Grill, the host stand is one of the most important positions in the building. We’re searching for someone who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced seafood restaurant while keeping guests smiling, organized, and informed — even on our busiest nights. This is not a “stand around and seat tables” kind of host job. You must be able to: Handle large reservation lists accurately Manage wait times professionally and calmly Communicate clearly with guests and staff Stay organized during heavy rushes Answer phones with confidence and hospitality Multitask while keeping a positive attitude Work quickly without losing professionalism Help create a welcoming experience from the second guests walk through the door Our dining room serves thousands of guests every season, and the host team keeps the entire operation flowing smoothly. We’re Looking For Someone Who Is: Dependable Professional Friendly under pressure Detail-oriented Comfortable with technology and reservation systems Able to handle busy nights with confidence and urgency Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic. Schedule Must be available nights, weekends, and during peak season.
