Host/Hostess

We are seeking Hosts/Hostesses to join our team. Candidates will be asked to manage the efficient seating of guests, waitlist, taking orders for carry out, and other duties. Ideal candidates must be able to work morning/afternoon, have a sense of urgency, and posses high multi-tasking abilities. Must be able to lunch shifts, usually 11am-4pm, and potentially one weekend night. Responsibilities Be the first and last impression on guest as they enter and leave our establishment Manage the reservations and waitlist to ensure timely seating and smooth operation Escort guests to the table that fits their accommodation's and provide them with menus Take and relay accurate food to the kitchen staff Answer phone calls and inquiries in a professional manner Handle guest concerns and complaints with patience and empathy Maintain a clean reception area and dining room Organize carryout receipts Skills Excellent phone etiquette skills for handling reservations and inquiries Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Proficiency in Toast or similar Point of Sale systems and reservation software.
