Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive, providing a positive first impression Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and reduce wait times Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to ensure a tidy environment Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience Handle guest concerns or complaints courteously, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction Skills Previous host or hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations or guest information Knowledge of restaurant operations, including seating protocols and reservation management Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and manage multiple tasks efficiently Demonstrated ability to build positive guest relations and provide exceptional guest services Join us and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
