Blu Ocean Grille is seeking a friendly, organized, and guest-focused Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage reservations and waitlists using our online system Seat guests in a timely manner Maintain clear communication with servers, managers, and kitchen staff Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating to ensure efficiency Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas Assist with guest inquiries, special requests. Qualifications: Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Availability to possibly work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays What We’re Looking For: At Blu Ocean Grille, our hosts set the tone for the entire guest experience.
