Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive, creating a warm and welcoming environment Manage reservation bookings using TOAST POS or OpenTable systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service flow Maintain a clean, organized host stand and lobby area, reflecting the restaurant’s high standards Answer guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the menu and wait times Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a memorable dining experience Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of restaurant operations, reservation management, and guest services practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus but not required Professional appearance and adherence to proper phone etiquette and guest relations standards Join us if you’re passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences in a lively, elegant setting!
