Pubbelly Sushi, an Award winning Asian-inspired gastropub is looking for experienced hosts to join our team at our Boca Raton location.Address:5377 Town Center Rd Unit 400, Boca Raton, FL 33486 Candidates must be able to work night, weekends and holidays; Part time positions are available.In addition to the base pay, hosts also receive tips which can range from an additional $2/hr-$8/hr POSITION Summary:In charge of greeting guests when they arrive and wishing farewell when they leave the restaurant.Responsible for seating the guests in the restaurant.Host will make reservations, answer the phone, and ensure menus are present at the Host stand for guest deployment.DUTIES AND Responsibilities:The following are intended as basic requirements.Make sure all menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains, and complete.Make sure entry doors are clean, free of debris and inviting.Supervise the floor during operation and insure that guests are comfortable with their service.Plan out the seating chart and organize the reservations (planning is everything when running an effective host stand).Greets guests, escorts them to their table, pull seat out for the guests, and present menus.Make sure the server is aware they have been sat.Keep an eye out that the dining room, entryway, bathrooms, and menus are kept clean throughout operations.Say good-bye to all of the guests.Check to see that everything was wonderful.Service oriented Strong business communications skills.Must have a professional attitude, you will be dealing with high-end customers.Any other duties as assigned by the company in order to operate the business most efficiently Must be able to work in a team-oriented and fast pace environment.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Experience:Restaurant:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
