Responsibilities Assist servers in delivering prompt and courteous service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting settings, and ensuring a tidy environment. Support food and beverage delivery by carrying trays, refilling water stations, and assisting with setup as needed. Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly assistance with seating arrangements and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant policies. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Focus POS to process guest orders accurately and efficiently. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest requests promptly. Uphold health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation procedures and restaurant policies at all times. Qualifications Previous host/hostess or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear coordination with team members and guests. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Focus POS is a plus. Experience in hotel or guest services environments is advantageous. Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when managing reservations or guest inquiries.
