Host/To-Go Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/To-go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests placing takeout orders while seating our in-house guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help create lasting impressions and foster guest loyalty. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality food and service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly Accurately input orders into the POS system, ensuring all details are correct. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing excellent phone etiquette while assisting guests. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills. Help manage inventory levels for to-go packaging and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment. Weekend and morning availability Familiarity with hospitality principles and practices is a plus. Experience using POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for helping others and providing exceptional service is essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
