Job Description:Job Summary We are seeking friendly and organized Hostesses/Hosts to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences.The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in our restaurant.They will plays a large part in instilling a spirit of hospitality throughout the restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience with a focus on creating a warm and welcoming environment.This position is also integral in developing our Neighbor's Program and cultivating relationships with our Neighbors and Regulars.This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.Handle guest inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.Support the team during peak hours by assisting with serving or other duties as needed.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Set a high standard for hospitality, leading by example Run the door with the support of the Maitre D' Seat guests in a timely manner and presente menus Provide accurate wait times Oversee that all proper information is distributed to kitchen, floor staff and FOH managers Maintain a clean and organized work station Know basic restaurant information:credit cards we accept, hours of operation, and reservation guidelines HOSPITALITY Offering a warm and sincere welcome with consistent positive guest interactions Overseeing the flow of seating across server stations to ensure best possible guest experience with timely service and food Taking an active interest in getting to know our guests and cultivating regulars Thanking each guest on the way out Oversee that all proper information is distributed to kitchen, floor staff and FOH Requirements Previous hostess/host or food service experience preferred.Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST POS Familiarity with reservation system such as OpenTable and Resy Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Positive demeanor with strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.A passion for serving others and creating memorable dining experiences.Join our team as a Hostess/Host and be part of an exciting environment where your contributions will make a difference in our guests' experiences!
