Job Description
Position Summary Under the supervision of the Property Manager, this employee is responsible for the routine upkeep and sanitizing of the Hot tub for all properties, so they are kept in a clean, safe and usable condition.An employee assigned to this position also has the responsibility of making sure all decks, pathways and driveways are clear of debris including ice and snow.Luxury Getaways will provide on the job training for this position.Representative Essential Duties This list is intended only to illustrate the various types of work that may be performed.The omission of specific statements does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.Scheduling is fluid & constantly changing and will receive updates.Service Hot tubs by routinely testing the chemical balance, therefore adding bromine, antifoam, Ph Up and Ph Down.Clean out all debris inside of the hot tub and wipe down the sides if need be as well as the lid.Draining and refilling the hot tub is necessary if dirtier than usual after use.Make sure hot tub jets and temperature buttons are in working order and all lids are not damaged and securely on.Report to management of any damages or if extra cleaning and sanitizing of the hot tub will be needed.Other Duties Because of the small size of the staff, each employee is expected to perform a wide range of field duties as may be required from time to time.Checking of propane tanks and refilling and distributing propane tanks to properties that need them.Leaf blowing decks, patios, porches, pathways and driveways if need be, as well as removing any sticks or other debris that may hinder the guest being able to safely use the space.During the Winter months snow shoveling a safe path from the driveway to the front door for guests and staff is often required, in addition a path from the door to the hot tub is needed.Sometimes large amounts of trash are left by guests and housekeepers will need your assistance with taking the garbage to the community dumpsters.Outdoor lights are important for guest and staff's safety and light bulbs will need replacing if burnt out.Distributing Firewood to all properties with wood burning fireplaces.Working Conditions The working conditions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.The employee frequently is required to stand and talk or hear.In addition, the employee is required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.While performing the duties of this job, the employee normally works outdoors in various weather conditions.The employee occasionally is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of operating small equipment and hand tools.Knowledge of being able to do simple repairs and light maintenance.Ability and skill in developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.Ability to work effectively in a sometimes-stressful environment.Ability to follow instructions and count accurately.Special Requirements A valid Washington State driver's license is required at the time of appointment of at a time established by Luxury Getaways.The employee must be able to drive a manual vehicle.Luxury Getaways work truck is a stick shift.LEGAL and REGULATORY EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS This position description does not constitute an employment agreement between Luxury Getaways and the employee.It is subject to change as the needs of the company and requirements change.Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) & Washington Minimum Wage Act (WMWA):This classification is designated as exempt from the overtime provisions of the FLSA and the WMWA.Appointment and Removal Authority:The General Manager is the appointing authority for this position with the power of appointment and removal.Pay:$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training Tools provided Work Location:In person.
