Job Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our select service hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure the property is maintained in excellent condition and that all systems are functioning properly to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a proactive mindset, basic technical knowledge across multiple trades, and a commitment to timely problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs to guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems Respond promptly to guest service and maintenance requests Conduct daily property walks and preventative maintenance inspections Troubleshoot issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Maintain the hotel’s curb appeal by addressing landscaping, lighting, and cleanliness of exterior areas Assist with inventory control and order supplies as needed Ensure all safety, security, and OSHA standards are met or exceeded Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth operation Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts as needed Benefits: Competitive pay Employee discounts at hotel properties worldwide Opportunities for training and career growth Join our team and be a part of creating memorable guest experiences every day.
