In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's grounds are pristine, inviting, and well-kept. Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds to enhance visual appeal Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various groundskeeping tasks Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and prevent water waste Conduct regular lawn care activities such as aerating, fertilizing, and overseeding to promote healthy growth Maintain pathways, parking areas, and outdoor amenities by cleaning debris, repairing surfaces, and ensuring safety standards are met Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or leaf clearing to keep outdoor areas accessible and attractive year-round Monitor the health of plants and turf, applying horticultural best practices to prevent pests and disease Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools Knowledge of horticulture principles and garden care techniques is a plus Ability to operate irrigation systems and perform basic troubleshooting or repairs Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds maintenance tasks Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating an inviting outdoor environment that leaves a lasting impression!
