Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Maintain the cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all surfaces. Handle janitorial duties efficiently by disposing of trash, restocking supplies, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained. Follow established safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Assist with laundry services by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning goals while maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus. Experience with industrial cleaning techniques or janitorial work demonstrates strong attention to detail and efficiency. Knowledge of floor care methods including carpet extraction, polishing, and waxing enhances your ability to maintain various surfaces effectively. Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities.
