The Hotel Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of hotel operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a high-performance, people-first culture.This role provides day-to-day leadership for the property, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and alignment with Makeready's brand standards and values.Serving as a key partner to the Managing Director, the Hotel Manager drives accountability across department leadership, oversees guest satisfaction initiatives, and leads strategic priorities including capital projects, service recovery, and continuous improvement efforts.Requested Tasks Leadership & Culture Lead, develop, and hold department leaders accountable to performance, service, and operational standards.Foster a collaborative, engaged, and hospitality-driven culture for all team members.Serve as a visible, hands-on leader for both guests and team members.Operations & Guest Experience Oversee all operational functions of the hotel, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and brand alignment.Lead guest satisfaction initiatives and oversee service recovery procedures to resolve guest concerns effectively and thoughtfully.Address team member concerns and support a positive, respectful workplace environment.Financial & Strategic Performance Prepare, present, and achieve annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and financial forecasts.Develop and execute marketing and sales plans in partnership with commercial leadership.Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency.Additional Responsibilities Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles.Additional duties and assignments, as assigned.Requested Capabilities Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive hotel operations leadership experience, with prior experience as a Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent role preferred.Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams in a hospitality environment.Strong operational knowledge across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Guest Services.Demonstrated experience managing hotel budgets, financial performance, and capital projects.Track record of driving guest satisfaction, service recovery, and brand standards.Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven decisions.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while balancing strategic priorities.Experience working with lifestyle, boutique, or independent hotel brands preferred.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.The health, happiness and well-being of our team is our top priority.We take pride in our Guiding Principles to help define how we successfully work together.We follow them not out of duty but live by them instinctively.Makeready LLC and its affiliated entities are proud to encourage and support an environment where everyone can be a successful team member as their true independent self.We are an equal opportunity workplace and employer that does not discriminate based on race, color, disability, gender/sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or any other protected status.We are committed to building a team and a workplace where we are all able to be successful based solely on our individual qualifications, experience, abilities and job performance.Job Close Date:4/18/26 or until filled.
