Source suppliers, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms while maintaining supplier diversity and compliance with regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations. Manage purchase orders using ERP systems like SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and coordinate sourcing activities accordingly. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or procurement issues, developing solutions to prevent recurrence. Monitor supplier performance, manage supplier relationships, and conduct regular reviews to ensure service levels meet contractual obligations. Oversee contract management processes, including drafting, reviewing, renewing, and ensuring adherence to contractual terms. Analyze market trends related to materials management, pricing strategies, and category management to optimize procurement decisions. Support logistics planning by coordinating with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Maintain comprehensive procurement records and reports for audit purposes and continuous improvement initiatives. Skills Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or equivalent for procurement management. Strong contract negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing advantageous terms. In-depth knowledge of procurement processes within manufacturing or hospitality environments. Expertise in sourcing strategies, category management, and supply chain management principles. Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and compliance standards relevant to procurement activities. Ability to perform root cause analysis on supply chain issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent supplier management skills with the ability to foster long-term partnerships. Experience with logistics coordination, production planning, materials management, and quality assurance practices. Strong negotiation skills combined with analytical thinking for pricing and contract discussions.
