Reduced part-time hours (8 to 12 hours/week, guaranteed) January through April while the principal is in Florida. About the Role We are a busy, kind, and respectful household in Pleasantville, NY looking for a truly exceptional House Manager who is also a confident, talented home cook. The principal works from home full-time as the CEO of a growing company, so the right person understands how to keep a beautifully run, calm, organized home while being mindful of a quiet professional environment during the workday. This is not a role for someone learning on the job. We are looking for a seasoned professional who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and treats the home with the care, discretion, and quality standards of someone who has been doing this work for years. If you are someone who genuinely loves creating order, beauty, and good food, and you take pride in running a household at a high level, we would love to meet you. A Note on Our Seasonal Pattern Our family splits the year between our home in Pleasantville, NY and our home in Delray Beach, FL. From January through the end of April, we are primarily in Florida. During those months, the role shifts to a reduced part-time schedule focused on keeping our New York home in beautiful order while we are away. This includes weekly visits, deliveries, housekeeping, mail and package handling, and preparing the home for any visits we make back to New York. We are looking for someone who wants long-term continuity with our home and family. This seasonal rhythm tends to suit candidates who appreciate flexibility in the winter months. If you are a candidate who would also be interested in occasional travel to Florida (fully covered, with additional pay) to support our home there, please mention that in your cover note. It is not required, but it is welcome.
