Med Surg - Floor Supervisor/House Supervisor/Charge Nurse - RN FT (7p to 7a) $10,000 Sign On Bonus with 1-Year Commitment! The House Supervisor RN plays a vital role in the efficient operation of our hospital, ensuring that all aspects of patient care and staff management are carried out with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.As a key member of our health care team, the House Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff, coordinate patient care activities, and serve as a resource for various departments within the facility.This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.The House Supervisor will be responsible for addressing any issues that may arise during their shift, managing personnel assignments, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.They will also promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff, enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.Our hospital is committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients, and the House Supervisor RN will be instrumental in upholding this mission.If you are an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership and a dedication to patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a difference.Responsibilities:Oversee nursing staff and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.Coordinate patient care activities and manage patient flow throughout the hospital.Serve as a resource and point of contact for all departments during assigned shifts.Manage staffing assignments and resolve any personnel issues that arise.Act as a liaison between medical staff, nursing staff, and administration.Conduct daily rounds to assess patient care needs and staff performance.Address any patient complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.Qualifications:Current RN licensure in the state of practice.Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree acceptable with relevant experience.At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of hospital operations and regulatory compliance.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations.Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
