Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our environment remains spotless, welcoming, and comfortable.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various spaces, delivering exceptional hospitality through meticulous cleaning and attention to detail.Your proactive approach and dedication will help create an inviting atmosphere that guests and residents will appreciate and remember.This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard environment while developing your skills in hospitality and custodial services.Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and private spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing different types of flooring to ensure a pristine appearance Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them promptly Manage janitorial tasks efficiently by organizing cleaning schedules and prioritizing high-traffic areas for optimal cleanliness Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control, training new team members, and adhering to quality standards Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment enhances effectiveness in this role Hands-on experience with floor care methods such as waxing, buffing, or carpet cleaning is advantageous Background in hospitality or janitorial services demonstrates a strong understanding of customer service standards Experience managing housekeeping operations or supervising teams is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for leadership is valued Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
