Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks that create a welcoming environment for residents, guests, or clients. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of living or work spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing with care and efficiency. Maintain floors through proper care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor buffing to preserve their appearance and safety. Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally. Manage janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed to maintain operational readiness. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when required, including scheduling or coordinating cleaning activities for larger projects or teams. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with strong custodial skills. Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures and safety protocols to prevent contamination or accidents. Ability to perform floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing effectively. Experience with laundry operations including washing, folding, and stain removal. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or janitorial experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
